Hello, my name is Nicole, and my nephew Jacob is currently in the hospital due to having fluid and a cyst on his brain. He was released from the hospital two days ago after undergoing two brain surgeries, only to end up having to be rushed back in yesterday for yet another emergency brain surgery. He is 14 years old and has been through so much already. In 2020 he had to have open heart surgery, and now he just underwent 3 emergency brain surgeries in just two weeks. The doctors said he is just unlucky it chose him. His mother has been out of work due to his medical emergency and is having a hard time dealing with everything. If you could please find it in your heart to donate it would be greatly appreciated. Literally anything helps. I am doing this for them. It just hurts my heart that he has to go through this at such a young age. The first two surgeries they had to insert a tube to drain the fluids out of his brain. This was/is a very risky surgery as it could be fatal if they make the slightest mistake. I am so happy and thankful the wonderful doctors took care of my nephew. Unfortunately, the tube they inserted was blocked, causing him to vomit and be rushed back into the PICU for the 3rd surgery. Please keep them in your prayers.
