Hi everyone,
I’m creating this fundraiser for someone very dear to me who is facing an unimaginable situation. One that no one should ever have to endure, especially while fighting for their life.
While he was hospitalized undergoing a double lung transplant, someone he trusted as a son took advantage of his absence and embezzled nearly one million dollars from his company. In the span of months, my friend went from discovering that his business, his home, and everything he had worked for over a life time are now at risk of being lost.
He is now facing legal battles, overwhelming financial strain, and the possible collapse of his company. All through no fault of his own. The stress of this situation is something no transplant patient should ever have to carry.
I have watched this man help so many people. Buy cars, pay rents, open his home to many, pay bills, the list goes on and when it came down to him having nothing left to offer, not a single person that he helped was there to help him when he needed help the most.
I see the pain this has caused and how this is affecting him and I am so worried that someone so good to others, may lose everything he has. I do everything I can but its just not enough. If you have ever known someone to give you the shirt off their back, this is him. Now that someone has ripped that off of him, he has nothing left to give and at 73 years old his health is leaving him unable to physically work enough to not lose everything and still be able to even just stand up at the end of the day. Please find it in your hearts to help my friend.
Funds raised will go directly to keeping his business afloat so that he doesn’t lose his home and everything he had worked so hard for. Additionally to pay attorney fees required to move forward with legal actions in seeking justice for what has been taken from him while he was in a bad enough situation as it was.
