I never thought I’d be doing this—asking for help—but here I am, humbled and heartbroken. For 43 years, my wife and I have dedicated our lives to helping others, especially children. We’ve always been the ones to give, but now we find ourselves in need.
My wife is scheduled for surgery on May 27th (surgery was postponed), and while we have insurance, it won’t cover the full cost. She is a breast cancer survivor—she fought through it in 2016 with incredible strength and by the grace of God. This upcoming procedure is necessary for her continued health, but we simply can’t afford it.
In December 2023, we moved to Saint Augustine for what was promised as a great opportunity. Sadly, it turned out to be false. I’ve applied for countless jobs, but responses are rare—and so far, none have led to work. We’re now facing the possibility of eviction in June, unable to pay rent or other bills.
I’m not just asking for financial help—I’m asking for prayers, for compassion, for hope. If you’re able to give, it would mean more than words can say. If not, thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
